This free software is designed to make it easier to solve cryptograms. Based on what is known in mathematics as a simple substitution cipher, cryptograms can be fun to solve. In order to solve them, it's helpful to know the frequency with which letters appear in the language that you're dealing with. For example, the most common letter in English is E, so it's likely that the letter which represents E will appear often in the encrypted message. Crypto Solve Helper analyzes letter frequencies and makes recommendations based on them, updating its recommendations automatically as you test substitutions.
In some cryptograms, letters are represented by numbers. In that case, you can convert each number to a letter before using the software. I'd go with something like this:
1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, etc.
